TRAINEE PROGRAM

The Trainee Program is focused on professional, technical, musical, and artistic development. Trainees will take part in company class and rehearsals, led by the director and lead artistic staff, as well as have the opportunity to understudy and potentially perform roles.

Trainees will also have the opportunity to work with guest teachers, including School of American Ballet master teacher and former New York City Ballet principal Suki Schorer, and former New York City Ballet soloist and Balanchine repetiteur Zippora Karz. 

ACB’s repertory makes the program an ideal choice for the dancer who wants to develop an ability to perform Balanchine ballets, late 19th century works, and new ballets.

DATES: September 1, 2023 through June 29th, 2024; 2024-2025 dates TBA

TUITION: $5,200

AGE: 18-22 years

Candidates will be accepted on a rolling basis until the program is full. ACB is accepting a limited number of trainees to ensure that each trainee will receive the attention necessary to ensure artistic development.
